Where the hell did I put my Esperanto dictionary?

No, I don't speak it. It's just that sometimes I take stock of the stuff that I've picked up, sniffed and put back down again. I was sure that my Esperanto book was right there in the small bookshelf, sandwiched between my Eskimo and Gaelic dict's but no - it's good and gone now.

How about you guys? what strange things can be found in your libroschrank?

i keep a little ceramic bathtub on my bookshelf. that's about the only strange thing "in my library."

Hmm... no strange books? no hidden poems, just a little ceramic bathtub, eh?
I think that you're not telling everything. ;-)

Medical dictionaries.
I'm obsessed with them. :S And also, quite a lot of literature on suicidology and alcoholism. Yay.

Wow, cool books. Your library would fascinate me, I'm sure - especially the medical books that contain overlays.

I only have one book that touches on alcohol - my mixes book. I keep it in the recipe book cupboard.

I'm sure there's something bizzare in there, but all I can think of from work:
Beer brewing, comics (excuse me, graphic novels...), Sci-Fi, and techno-geekery.
Oh, and "The Art and Practice of Clawhammer Banjo." ^_^

I think my strangest book is my mother-annotated "Sewing for Geniuses," which is a S'ewing for Dummies" book that has been greatly improved by the copious addition of white-out, marginalia, and post-its.

You know that you've got something good when you have post-its sticking out of it! :)
