We saw it approaching from the north, first the evening's sky waning to pale blue then the ominous clouds rushing to overwhelm it with it's grey mass and sheets of lightning.
We saw the sky go lifeless and dark, occasional flashes of brightness illuminating a fleeing flock of seagulls. Delicate white beings hurtling towards safety.
Then, a cacophony. The sky burst open and ships... round sh

Yeah, as Thunderstorms go this one was the best we've seen in years! (Minus the alien ships breaking through the sky... though it was just the sky for it.) Terrible and awesome all at the same time.

I suppose I should come out from under the blankies or people will start talking, eh?

I just realised that it's been three weeks since I've written and that's just too long.

I keep hoping for good news from the University about a potentially interesting job. I stay off the dial-up in hopes... Yes, I have voicemail but getting the news firsthand and live is that much better, right? So yeah, I'm waiting by the telephone.. Time's getting long.
