Well, I've finally figured out some sort of schedule for my Journey all I need to do now is arrange the boarding part of it. If I can get that togther, and without going over budget I'll be digging the backpack out of the closet.

So far it's looking like:

June 12th, leave Montreal
June 13th arrive Chicago
Stay 1 night in Chicago (13th)

June 14th, leave Chicago
June 15th arrive Denver
Stay 3 nights in Denver (15th to 17th)

June 18th, leave Denver
June 18th arrive Santa Fe
Stay 2 nights in Santa Fe (18th to 19th)

June 20th, leave Santa Fe
June 20th arrive El Paso 9:45 pm
Stay 4 nights in Santa Fe (20th to 23rd)

June 24th, leave El Paso
June 24th, arrive Tucson 11:30 pm!!
Stay 2 nights in Tucson (24th to 25th)

June 26th, leave Tucson 6:30 am
June 26th, arrive in Montreal
(Air Canada)

(I don't know about 4 days in El Paso though... we'll see about that; maybe it should only be 3 days)

Oh, and if anyone has any insight on any of these places I'd love to hear them. :)

What's your plan for getting around town? There are lots of things I can recommend in Tucson but most are way out in the mountains that surround the city.

I'll be mostly on foot, but I expect that there a tour-buses or equivalent that go to the out-of-town places.

Saguaro Park... that's a can't miss, right?
There are also rocket museums in Tucson, apparently? Excited!

Heya Toni

It's my intention to take up to 2GB of photos. Hopefully one or two of them will be okay. ;-)

Happy Trails...

To you.

Hey. Travel is good therapy. Make yourself a book and keep it in your left pocket. Maybe you'll write... travelling is good for that, too. I hope you enjoy your trip, Stan. Stay away from the Tequila...

The library building is a much quieter, gloomier place without you. With a distinct absence of window-ledge knick-knacks.

Hopefully you will spend the summer taming string, perfecting the codec stitch...

Give a call when you have enough head space for lunch.
You know where to find me!

Re: Happy Trails...

the new Buzz Bobblehead (the one with the finger pointing upwards) at the LB Security office is courtesy of myself.
Think of me when you see him. :)

I will definitely tag you for lunch, maybe even before I leave on my journey.

If it makes a pretty girl shiver then I know I'm at the right spot.
It's kinda like smoking - but with a vengeance - and if I make it out alive then I own the right to say "I've done it".
- Unless I've been swooned by Hollywood and I'm chasing a fiction.
Denver? I think that Denver will be great - even if all I do is stare at your old building.
