one foot of snow

the subway spews more commuters today
a steady stream of unfamiliars
fan out from the warm depths of the city
regrouping into
thin clusters of dark masses
that wobble along the deserted streets
hopping from sunken footstep to
tire gully.
one shadowy figure leaps slowly
from the path of an intrepid
yet slow moving motorist.

stay warm and safe.

You'll love this:

I decided to work on my altered book at work (I don't do a lot around here), I asked for supplies, and am now the proud owner of a government issued box cutter!!

Nothing's really moving fast enough to do anyone any damage so the safety thing's covered. As for the warmth, well, I know a little blonde that will likley suggest I work up some btu's by clearing the walk when I get home. ;)

You get to play at work?!? Luckyyyy! Actually, I shouldn't say anything because i have assembled little booky-bits at work. Ah the advantages of working in printing, eh? :)

*grin* I "Capital L" Love that you were issued a box cutter! Good thing you don't work for the FAA, else I would have been off my chair, twitching and gasping for air!
