Tried posting this morning. Early this morning. It took me 5 minutes to delete 10 lines of meaningless blather.
This is my second go.

Saturday. Hop into the Metro to St Urbain and Notre Dame - just east of Steves....
I know what I'm getting for mishmash; I put it on my card so I could get more airmiles.
Romantic? No.
Pragmatic? Abso-fucking-lutely.
I want my free ice-crushing blender before the turn of the century, thankyouverymush.
It's not like I actually drink Margaritas but "She-Who" does so that's that.

We tucked into Tong Por afterwards for Dim Sum and that got me to thinking how it'd be great to see Da Tea and Chickadee Crew again and that, maybe, for a waiiiiiiit forit.... Sunday Dim Sum Brunchy! imagine Trolleys of mysterious tasties rolling around the room and all you have to to is point to the yummy stuff. It's like a Happy Yummy Culinary Video Game! Only Better! And maybe this time there'll be an adventurous soul at the table that won't mind trying chicken feet with me! Cock-a-doodleWOO!!
Have proposed to (HeadOfClan)_r_e_q_u_i_e_m_, awaiting response.
(HeadOfClan)emjayne, interest? [edit] Ooops, Emjayne has prior excitement. [/edit]
Waiting, Wanting....

Sunday was brought to me by french cuisine of the Americas. Breakfast was a typical French Canadian affair consisting of eggs poached in Maple Syrup, Bacon swimming in Maple Syrup, heavily buttered toast for dipping into Maple Syrup and double stong Espresso - black, no sugar; thanks.

The rest of the day was a blur. Verily.

Sunday dinner was Cajun Gumbo; another aspect of french-inspired cuisine altogether. Happy sigh. J'aimions les bonnes bouffes, ah ouais!

Well, not much else to report except maybe that I've talked myself into feeling peckish again.
Mmmmm Mmmmmmmaple donuts....

Stan, you're making me hungry for pancakes, sausage, bacon and eggs, and toast. When one lives with a vegan, this is a Thing of Difficulty.

Happy Monday!

Re: ack

It's evil and insidious, this craving for sugar and fats but ohhhh so satisfying when you submit to it.
*sigh* I will attempt to ward off this desire with... fruit. Being a grown-up has it's disadvantages.....

I shouldn't get ahead of myself but...
As you've read here, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a potential yum-fest this sunday. If it comes together it'd be great if you could make it. :)
